As we kick off 2020, we are excited to announce the relaunch of our Bugcrowd Ambassador program! When we sat down to determine what we wanted to bring to this program, we had two goals in mind: clearly define the roles and responsibilities of Ambassadors and ensure that our Ambassadors are rewarded for their work.
We are also changing the way our Ambassador program is run — with the program, we plan to help you chart out your goals for your community, as well as any passion projects you wish to embark upon while serving as an Ambassador.
This redesigned Ambassador program is based around empowering your local communities, with three different pathways to choose from: Speaker, Maker, and Tester.
- Speakers are people who are passionate about speaking at events on our behalf, creating on-demand content, or have a dream of becoming a regular security focused-streamer.
- Makers are people who have the drive to build tools for other researchers, creating and running CTFs to find and reward talent, and develop guides for newer researchers to help them get started.
- Testers are here to help us understand how to make our products, like Next Gen Pen Test, the best that they can be for our Crowd.
We also have brand new swag we can’t wait to unveil for our Ambassadors! We are rolling out an exclusive line of backpacks, stickers, and pins, as well as offering tickets for conferences and opportunities to run your own live hacking experiences in your own communities.
